Hass: El aguacate Hass de forma ovalada, verde y piel dura, gruesa y aspera es quizás uno de los tipos de aguacate más famosos y la mayor variedad de aguacate producida comercialmente que es perfecta para el guacamole. Árbol grande, 25-35 pies de altura con 10-12oz de peso cada fruta madura en febrero a octubre, larga temporada
Lamb Hass: Este es un cruce entre un aguacate Hass y Gwen. Los frutos son más grandes en tamaño y maduran más tarde que Hass. Está ganando popularidad como una variedad comercial y deyarda pequeña debido a su hábito vertical y compacto, sabor excepcional y cualidades de fácil pelado.
Mexicola: Esta variedad que tolera el frio, negra, del tamaño de una ciruela fue criada en California. Lo que realmente distingue a este aguacate es el hecho de que puedes comer su piel y sus hojas. Árbol atractivo y productivo, que crece 25-35 pies de altura. Planta una de estas bellezas y tendrás una recompensa de 30 libras de deliciosos aguacates al año en solo unos pocos años. Fuerte: El aguacate Fuerte tiene una forma alargada característica y se cultiva principalmente en todo México y Centroamérica. Maduración de los frutos: Diciembre- Mayo.
Gem: La más nueva creación con forma de pera-piel gruesa y áspera que se pone negra cuando está listo para cortarse, Pesa de 7-11oz. El rival más grande de Hass. El sabor es extraordinario y puede estar en árbol más tiempo sin madurar. Sin duda la mejor elección para un árbol de aguacate.
Bacon: Los aguacates Bacon de forma ovalada tienen una piel lisa y delgada que es de color verde oscuro con manchas débiles en todas partes. De tamaño mediano grande están generalmente disponibles desde el otoño hasta la primavera y tienen un sabor más delicado que algunas otras variedades.
