Part to full shade; medium water needs. RARE!! Fabulous slow growing evergreen black grass-like clumps to 8in. tall and 12in. wide. Clusters if spikes on which whitish lilac flowers appear in summer; often followed by dark, nearly black berries in fall. Excellent in containers or as groundcover.
