Full sun-light shade; low to occasional water. A stemless succulent with clumps of arching foliage to 3-4ft tall spreading slowly to 4-6ft wide. The leathery long, narrow gray-green leaves have deep grooves and white fraying fibers along the margins. In spring to mid-summer the clusters of rose -pink flowers are borne on tall red flower stalks to 5ft high, that arch up and outward. A good clean plat for desert and succulent gardens, planted in masses or used in pots. Attracts hummingbirds. Drought tolerant.
