Full sun-part shade. A compact, dense evergreen shrub with green foliage and no thorns on stems native to South Africa. Thick, glossy deep green leaves which are oval to roundish. Sweetly fragrant star-shaped, tubular, white flowers are borne singly or in small clusters at the branch tips throughout the year. The fruit is a red, crimson or magenta berry. Use as a low growing hedge, groundcover, containers and beds.
