Full sun-part shade; low water. Evergreen small shrub native to Australia. Slow growing, dwarf form to 3ft tall and 3-5ft wide, with dense growth pattern. Narrow, bluish gray-green leaves. Blood red bristle0like stamens; hence the common name bottlebrush, appear throughout the year, but peak bloom is early summer through fall. Attracts bees and hummingbirds. Good for mass plantings, as a foundation plant, or a low hedge.
