Originated in Kefar Malal, Israel. Introduced there in 1947. Introduced in the U.S. in 1954. Fruit: Fuerte type. Large seed, loose in cavity, seedcoats adhere to flesh. Flesh clear light yellow, free of fiber, soft, melting, ripens uniformly. Ripens slightly before and with Fuerte. A Mexican variety grown commercially in Israel. Upright. October-January 30°F
