Full sun; regular water. Native to Argentina, Chile. Legginess is its natural state, reaching 6ft and sprawling to 6ft wide. Narrow leaves to 3in. long are arranged in whorls of three or four along branches. Bears open clusters of very small lilac or whitish flowers in summer-fall, aromatic leaves. Makes an excellent container or border plant. Prized for lemon-scented leaves used for flavor teas and iced drinks and potpourris.
