Full sun; low water. A large rosette-forming succulent native to Mexico. Grows 5-8ft tall and wide. Upright, slightly wavy bold gray-green leaves that have strong cream yellow margins. As with the species there are recurved spines on the margins and a long terminal spine. Yellow-green flowers attract hummingbirds, however the Century Plant doesn't bloom until it is a decade or so old and the plant dies after flowering. Cold hardy to 15 degrees F. Good on a hillside. Drought, heat, and deer tolerant.
