Full sun-part shade; Little to moderate water, allow drying before watering next. Sprawling, leaning stems 6-8 inches tall. The green leaves are jelly bean shaped, 3/4 inch long, which change color at the tips from red to maroon and sprout bright yellow flowers with a reddish tinge from between the leaves in mid-spring. Excellent grown in the rock garden, containers between steppingstones or in wall niches.
