Full sun-shade; low water. Pale green or yellowish green rosettes up to 6ft wide. Leaves are 3-4in. wide, fleshy, deeply channeled above, with a single long spine at the end. Arching twisted leaves give plant look of an octopus. Striking brilliant yellow 20ft flowering spike. Works well in the ground or in a container.
