Full sun-part shade; regular water, low water once established. Native to South Africa. Dense clump to 1-2ft tall and wide. Narrow, bluish green foliage edged in white, Clusters of 8-20 lavender flowers; bloom is heaviest in spring and summer. Leaves and flower stems have onion or garlic odor if cut or crushed. Good in rock gardens or containers. Controls moles in gardens.
